Terms of Service

APPLORE collects publicly available app icons and logos, from app stores and other public sources, and organizes them by category, color, style, letter and release date. It also keeps a history of how icons change over time. The site is a design reference. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Apple, Google or any of the apps and brands shown.

Every app icon, logo, app name and screenshot shown on APPLORE is the property of its respective owner and may be protected by copyright and trademark law. APPLORE does not claim ownership of them and does not grant you any license to them.

The copy and download features are provided so that designers can study icons and use them as reference, for example in a mood board or a design review. You are responsible for how you use what you copy or download. In particular, you may not:

• use an icon as the icon, logo or branding of your own product;
• use an icon in a way that suggests you are affiliated with, or endorsed by, its owner;
• sell, sublicense or redistribute the icons, alone or as part of a collection or dataset;
• use the icons to train machine learning models without the permission of their owners.

When in doubt, ask the owner of the icon for permission.

You can browse part of the library without an account. Signing in lets you see the whole library, copy and download icons, and keep a list of saved icons. You can sign in with Google or with a one-time link sent to your email address. There are no passwords.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email or Google account secure. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to create an account. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected].

Please use the site the way a person normally would. You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl or bulk-download the library, or get around the limits that apply to visitors who are not signed in;
• use automated tools to create accounts or to send requests at a rate that burdens the service;
• attempt to access the admin area, other people's accounts or any data that is not yours;
• interfere with the security or normal operation of the site;
• use the site for anything unlawful.

Search engines may index public pages in line with our robots.txt file.

If you submit an app for us to consider, or send feedback, you allow us to use that suggestion without any obligation to you. We decide which icons are added to the library and may remove any icon at any time.

If you own an icon shown on APPLORE and would like it removed or corrected, email [email protected] with the name of the app, a link to the page, and a statement that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner. We will review the request and respond promptly.

APPLORE is currently free. We may introduce paid plans or credits in the future. If we do, the price and what is included will be shown clearly before you pay, and these terms will be updated to cover billing, renewals and refunds.

We work to keep the site available and the information accurate, but the site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Icons, features and limits may change or be removed, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, APPLORE and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the site or of any icon obtained through it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, we will make it visible on the site. Continuing to use APPLORE after a change means you accept the updated terms.
